We visited the laboratory of Prof. Dmitrii Perepichka at Mcgill University in Montreal. The laboratory mainly investigates organic devices and thin films. They have published many epoch making results in famous journals. In the laboratory, we saw various facilities for forming and analyzing organic thin films. Almost of the facilities are added modification and enhancement for easy fabrications and measurements. If we could collaborate with them, our investigation of organic electronics would be greatly progressed. After the lab tour, we discussed mutual investigation with PhD students in the laboratory. We deeply understood the frontier of organic electronics.

In addition, we attended MRS fall meeting at Boston, MA. We presented and discussed our investigation with world wide researchers.

有機デバイスや自己組織化薄膜形成の研究で著名なモントリオール・マギル大学のDmitrii Perepichka先生の研究室を訪問しました。研究室では,トランジスタや太陽電池作製の為の有機薄膜製膜装置やAFMなどの薄膜解析装置及び,輸送特性測定装置等を拝見させていただきました。どの装置も市販のものに改造・改良が加えられ,高性能化されており当研究室の試料も測定委託をお願い出来れば,さらに精度の良い解析が期待できるものと感じました。また研究室見学後は,研究室のPDや博士課程の学生とディスカッションを行い彼らの研究を深く理解することができました。
