The 7th international conference on molecular electronics (Elecmol) is the premier European conference in the field of molecular and organic electronics. Many researchers, including Prof. Rene Janssen (Eindhoven University of Technology), Prof. Colin Nuckolls (Columbia University), and Prof. Philip Kim (Harvard University) attended the conference. The conference was held in Strasbourg during August 24-29, 2014. In this conference, we attended various lectures; specifically, organic photovoltaic cells, organic transistors, and single molecular devices, and solar cell using perovskite type compounds. From these lectures we were able to gain new points of view of molecular electronics and expand our knowledge about experimental processes. Furthermore, during the poster presentation, many experts and young researchers visited to our posters and we had valuable discussions with them.
Elecmolは我々の研究分野と関連深い分子エレクトロニクスを対象とし、Eindhoven工科大学のRene Janssen教授、Columbia大学のColin Nuckolls教授、Harvard大学のPhilip Kim教授など世界的に著名な研究者が参加する国際会議です。7回目となる今年はストラスブールにて8月24～29日の日程で開催されました。学会では、有機トランジスタや有機太陽電池、単分子エレクトロニクス、さらに、perovskite型化合物を用いた太陽電池に関する講演などを聴き、これまでにない新たな視点や実験手法について多くの深い知見を得ることができました。 我々の研究グループはポスター発表にて成果報告を行い、著名な先生方に加えて若手研究者にも我々の研究に興味を持って頂きました。また、今後の研究に繋がる有用な議論をすることができ、大変充実したものになりました。
