The International Chemical Congress of Pacific Basin Societies 2015 (Pacifichem 2015）was held in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA from 15 to 20th, December 2015. The conference is sponsored jointly by Pacific Basin Chemical Societies (Japan America, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Korea and China). With the financial support from Core-to-Core program, I attended this meeting and presented about the switching of transfer characteristics of an organic field-effect transistor by phase transitions. My presentation attracted many audiences, and our discussion was meaningful for my future research. We attended various lectures; specifically related to functional molecular materials and supramolecular assemblies at surfaces. From these lectures we were able to gain new points of view of molecular electronics and expand our knowledge about experimental processes. We also discussed about organic devices with Prof. Dmitrii F. Perepichka (McGill University).
2015年12月15日から20日まで、ホノルルにてThe International Chemical Congress of Pacific Basin Societies 2015（Pacifichem 2015）が開催されました。本大会は、日本、アメリカ、カナダ、ニュージーランド、オーストラリア、韓国、中国の7化学会の主催で5年に一度開催されます。今回、私はCore-to-Coreプログラムの支援を受けこの国際会議に参加させていただきました。私は相転移による有機トランジスタの伝達特性変化に関する研究成果について報告し、今後の研究の発展に繋がる有用な議論をすることができました。また、機能性分子材料をはじめ、有機エレクトロニクスや自己組織化膜に関連するセッションを中心に広い分野の講演を拝聴し、McGill大学のDmitrii F. Perepichka先生をはじめとする多くの研究者と交流を深め新しい知見を得ることができました。
