Research Collaboration: "Contact doping of strongly-correlated electron systems of radicals"

To test the contact doping of strongly-correlated electron systems of radicals, Mr. Mizuno, from Awaga group, Nagoya University, stayed with the group of Prof. Tamotsu Inabe in Hokkaido University. He pasted together single crystals of a radical molecule with three kinds of acceptor molecules and measured the I-V characteristics. Through this collaboration, he acquired the method of contact doping. He also taught the sublimation method of radical molecules to Prof. Inabe’s group. Hereafter, we will continue to investigate contact doping of radical molecules.

 強相関ラジカルへの接触型ドーピングを試みるため、名古屋大学阿波賀グループの水野麻人が北海道大学稲辺研究室に滞在した。ラジカル単結晶と3種類のアクセプター分子の単結晶試料を張り合わせ、電流-電圧特性を測定した。接触型ドーピングの手法を学ぶことができた。水野からは、ラジカル分子の昇華精製法を伝えた。今後も、ラジカル分子への接触型ドーピングの研究を継続する予定である。
